● Passport: Original passport valid for more than 6 months, with at least 1 - 2 blank visa pages. The passport should have the applicant's signature.
● Photos: Recent color, bareheaded photos with a white background taken within 6 months. The size is generally around 4.5cm×4.5cm, and the number required varies depending on the consular district. For example, the Beijing consular district usually requires 3 photos.
● Visa Application Form: Fill out the Japanese visa application form truthfully and completely with a black ballpoint pen and sign it.
● Personal Information Processing Consent Form: A written document indicating consent for the Japanese embassy/consulate to process personal information.
Financial Capability Proof Materials
● Employment Certificate: An employment certificate issued by the employer, stating the position, employment period, salary amount, annual income, etc., and stamped with the company's official seal. Some regions also require a copy of the company's business license.
● Bank Statement: Bank account statements for the past 6 months, preferably showing stable income and a certain balance. Some regions require a certificate of time deposit, with a suggested amount of over 100,000 RMB and a freezing period covering the entire trip.
● Other Asset Proofs: Such as real estate certificates, vehicle registration certificates, stock and fund certificates, which can serve as supplementary evidence of financial strength.
Itinerary-Related Materials
● Round-Trip Flight Itinerary: A reservation for round-trip flights, including the applicant's name, flight information, and travel dates.
● Hotel Reservation: A hotel reservation in Japan, including the hotel name, address, check-in and check-out dates, and the booker's information.
Supplementary Materials (Optional)
● Materials Related to the Japanese Inviter: If there is an inviter in Japan, provide copies of the inviter's valid residence card, stay permit (if applicable) with the in-Japan residence qualification, and the original notarized certificate of kinship. If the inviter is a Japanese citizen, provide copies of the inviter's household registration booklet, employment certificate, and tax payment certificate.
● International Credit Card: Some consular districts accept international credit cards (including UnionPay cards) at the gold card level or above as one of the financial capability proof materials. Provide documents confirming the validity of the card, such as a consumption statement for the past 3 months.
